Aviation is Bruce McCall's passion. He is never happier than when he is in the air. In 1986, Bruce built and flew his first plane, a single seat, ultralight aircraft that carried a whopping 5 gallons of gas and weighed a mere 254 lbs. soaking wet. At age 54 he received his private pilot license and began flying his own Piper Comanche 250.

After a 30+ year career in Corporate Marketing, Bruce decided to pursue aviation full time and teamed up with EAA to help launch Light Sport, a successful new category of flight. He also served on an FAA industry committee to establish ASTM standards for Light Sport manufacturing and pilot standards.

That accomplished, he went on to join the world of airport management, starting at the local FBO and requesting to start from the bottom pumping gas and cleaning lavs, then working his way up. He wanted to fully understand the responsibilities of each position before running it. Within a year he became General Manager for Trajen at AUS in Texas, and later GM for Atlantic, Million Air, and Landmark at GSO in North Carolina.

Bruce has also had the honor to serve as the Chairman of the Board for FSANA (Flight School Association of North America) and still serves on its Board.

In the end, Bruce found it was most rewarding to see others learn the joys of aviation. In 2013, he became the Owner/President/CEO of Triad Aviation Academy, expanding it to create more inclusivity and opportunity for everyone interested in aviation. TAA has done just that.

Linda has an extensive, several decades long background in corporate training and meeting facilitation.

Aviation runs in her blood. Her father served as a career pilot in the Air Force, flying an F4 Phantom in Vietnam and retiring as Lt. Colonel. As a young girl, Linda wanted to follow in her father's footsteps, finding creative ways to pursue her passion for aviation.

Along with her husband, Linda first became involved in aviation as co-owner of Flightstar and business partner in Phantom ultralight aircraft manufacturing in 2004.

Currently a member of Women in Aviation International, she prefers to fly right seat and has logged hundreds of hours next to her husband in both his Flightstar and Comanche 250.

Linda has been with Triad Aviation Academy since 2014, serving as Office Manager prior to being promoted to Executive Vice President overseeing the Flight Attendant program.

After a successful two-decade career with several Major Airlines and ATA, Wendy created the first Accelerated Flight Attendant Preparation Program in 1998. Her passionate vision and ability to condense a complex process into a few days created a successful, replicable model that every short course in the market is based upon. After merging with Triad Aviation Academy in 2016, our program became the gold standard in the industry, placing thousands of aspiring flight attendants in their dream careers.

Wendy has been a featured aviation safety speaker on CNN, Fox News, and NBC, as well as being featured in the New York Times and top aviation books. She completed Flight Safety International's recruiting program and is an active member of Women in Aviation.

Wendy's dream began at age four watching a flight attendant in a navy-blue uniform with golden wings on TV. She never deviated from her goal, even driving through a blizzard to reach her first airline interview where she was hired on the spot.

When an inner ear issue grounded her from flying, Wendy discovered her true calling: empowering future flight attendants to earn their wings through her pioneered preparation curriculum.

With unparalleled industry knowledge and trusted recruiter relationships, Wendy ensures TAA graduates are always in high demand across major and regional airlines.

Growing up with a father who traveled constantly and praised flight crews, Julie developed a lifelong passion for people and aviation, making a flight attendant career her perfect calling.

Family is everything to Julie, who comes from a large family with 6 siblings, 3 children, and 4 grandchildren. Originally from the Bay Area, she now calls High Point, North Carolina home.

Julie flew for ATA for nearly 15 years as a Lead Flight Attendant and CRM Instructor for new hires and Captain upgrades. She currently flies for Republic Airways based out of Newark.

Julie loves traveling and spending quality time with her family, always bringing her vibrant energy and warmth to everything she does.

Aviation brought her lifelong friendships and even love: Julie met and married her pilot husband while flying in the skies.

During her 30-year flying career, moving military troops worldwide with ATA remains one of her most cherished professional highlights.

In the classroom, Julie empowers students to find their inner flight attendant, achieving a proven 96% graduate hire rate that airline recruiters trust.

Originally from Indiana, Kim pursued a flight attendant career to fulfill her lifetime passion for worldwide adventure. Over 21 years with charter airline ATA, she flew military and VIP charters across Japan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Thailand, and Europe.

Promoted to Lead Flight Attendant within her first year, Kim managed troop transport missions with high-ranking military officials and flew presidential candidates and VIPs.

Her favorite memory was buying disposable cameras for troops on board, having them address envelopes to their families, and mailing the developed photos back home. It was a profound honor to serve our military families.

After raising her children, Kim returned to the skies as an active Endeavor Air Flight Attendant, continuing her passion for flying.

At TAA, Kim serves as Lead Guidance Counselor and Program Instructor, mentoring students from their first class until they proudly call her after earning their wings.

Camille is a 2011 TAA graduate who has been an active Flight Attendant for over 13 years. After two decades in corporate administration in New York, she decided in her 40s to pursue her dream of flying.

After initially struggling on her own, Camille attended our program (then Flight Attendant Express), calling it the best investment she ever made in herself. She graduated with job offers from three airlines and chose PSA Airlines.

At PSA, an American Airlines regional carrier, she loved the close family culture. She fondly remembers her initial training flight where her instructor and Captain helped ease her nerves with a classic aviation prank, giving her the confidence to pass her IOE smoothly.

During her 10 years at PSA, Camille advanced steadily to become a Check Flight Attendant and Flight Departure Specialist.

In 2017, Camille joined TAA as an instructor and mentor, sharing her firsthand experience as a former graduate to guide new students.

Wanting a new adventure, Camille interviewed with Republic Airways alongside TAA students, graduating valedictorian of her airline class. She now flies for Republic while continuing to mentor TAA students.

Camille considers it a privilege to guide aspiring flight attendants: 'I was in your shoes, I made it happen, and so can you.'

Katie, a Greensboro native, has built a dynamic career blending aviation, communication, and creative leadership.

She flew as a flight attendant for Republic Airways based in Greensboro, cherishing the exciting lifestyle and fast-paced environment of flying the line.

In 2014, Katie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from East Carolina University, equipping her with expert interpersonal skills.

Transitioning to solid ground, Katie became a successful Realtor, guiding clients through real estate investments with dedication and strategic insight.

Beyond work, Katie is a culinary enthusiast, home renovator, snowboarder, and yoga practitioner who loves travel and family time.

Drawn back to aviation, Katie now serves as Assistant Director of Training at TAA, empowering students as they gain confidence and secure job offers.

Katie brings passion, creativity, and mentorship to every class, helping students turn their dream of flying into reality.

Matt brings a unique background to TAA as a former elementary school teacher and professional actor. He uses his acting and presentation expertise to teach students how to excel at airline interview auditions.

Hired directly out of his TAA class interview with Republic Airways, Matt now flies as an active American Airlines Flight Attendant.

Matt fondly recalls how a kind Rabbi on one of his earliest flights reassured his nerves, inspiring Matt to always pay kindness forward to his passengers.

His favorite part of flying is layovers: enjoying free private rooms and exploring new cities across the country.

As a TAA instructor, Matt is humbled to guide future flight attendants, proving that pursuing this career is completely worth it.
